He started climbing with his father at a young age, and now, as a professional climber in South Korea, he is embarking on an expedition to Spain's Margalef to challenge his highest grade route, 5.15a (9a+).
The project, Last Ray, is inspired by the route he is challenging, First Ley. The name, "Last Ray," signifies the constant passion and determination of climber Lee Min-young, regardless of the outcome, and it's a project he has planned.
