Spyder X Supreme collaboration collection released

Sports brand Spyder and Supreme have unveiled a new collaboration collection for 2022.

Spyder is a sports brand founded in 1978 by David Jacobs, a former competitive skier who won championships and coached the Canadian national ski team in the 1950s and 60s. In 1994, the company received a patent for its speed suit, designed to streamline airflow and reduce wind resistance. However, after winning the 1997 World Alpine Ski Championships in a speed suit reinforced with speed wire, the International Ski Federation claimed that the technology provided an unfair advantage and banned it. Following this event, Spyder's performance became globally recognized, and for over 30 years, it has been the official supplier to the U.S. Ski Team, establishing itself as one of the largest skiwear brands in the world.

The items in this collaboration collection include a fleece jacket, fleece pants, a long-sleeved shirt, and a balaclava. Particularly noteworthy are the fleece jacket and pants featuring an impressive spiderweb graphic, available in three colors: black, red, and green.

The Supreme x Spyder 2022 collaboration collection is set to be released on the brand's official website at 1 a.m. Korean time on the 23rd. Purchases will be available at Asian stores starting at 11 a.m. on the 24th.
