After ending a 27-year partnership with Nike, the 'Golf Emperor' Tiger Woods has teamed up with TaylorMade to launch the 'Sunday Red' line.

The brand name was inspired by Woods always wearing a red shirt on Sundays, the final round of the PGA Tour. Indeed, Woods has secured 79 of his 82 PGA Tour victories while donning a red shirt. The logo also features a tiger shape, reminiscent of Woods' name, Tiger.

At the launch event, Woods stated, "I started wearing red from my junior days, believing in my mother's opinion that red was my 'power color,' and I lifted several championship trophies wearing it. Even after enrolling at Stanford University, I continued wearing red, the symbolic color of the college golf team, and naturally, red became my color as I turned professional."

He also mentioned that he plans to wear Sunday Red brand products starting with the upcoming Genesis Invitational.

Meanwhile, 'Sunday Red' is a joint venture with TaylorMade but will operate as an independent brand, with its operations, including its employees, being separate from TaylorMade.
