OLYMPIC DAY RUN 2024, to be held in June.
The only IOC official Olympic event in the country
The "OLYMPIC DAY RUN 2024," the only IOC official Olympic event in Korea, will be held in anticipation of the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Olympic Day commemorates the establishment of the IOC by Baron Pierre de Coubertin on June 23, 1894. It is celebrated worldwide with campaigns that share the joy of sports through the Olympics.
Unlike previous years when it was held in October, this event will take place on the original Olympic Day, June 23 (Sunday), 33 days before the Paris Olympics, to boost interest and participation in the Olympics.
The event is a Fun-Run open to all ages, featuring 5km and 10km categories. Like last year, it will be held under the theme "Let’s Move," offering a sports festival where participants can experience various activities. In addition to the marathon, there will be sports trials, autograph sessions with Olympic stars, sponsor events, and an after-party.
