The registration schedule for the 2024 Chuncheon Marathon

The Chuncheon Marathon is an international marathon event held annually in October in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province. First started in 1946, it is the second oldest marathon in South Korea after the Seoul International Marathon, and it is renowned for its scenic course that showcases the beautiful autumn landscape of Chuncheon. The event is hosted by Chosun Ilbo and holds the prestigious IAAF Silver Label status.
The 2024 Chuncheon Marathon will take place on October 27. Registration will open on June 25 at 2 PM on a first-come, first-served basis. The main courses include a full marathon of 42.195 kilometers and a 10-kilometer course, attracting many runners from both Korea and abroad. The course starts at Gongjicheon Bridge, loops around Uiam Lake, and is loved by many runners for its beautiful scenery.
Participants will enjoy the stunning natural scenery of Chuncheon, accompanied by traditional Korean music and the cheers of spectators. Various running clubs participate, creating a vibrant and lively atmosphere.
