Kim Hong-Yeol, known as the legendary B-boy 'Hong 10,' will be the first Korean B-boy to compete in the Olympics.
Breaking has been included as an official sport in the Paris Olympics for the first time. A total of 16 men and 16 women will compete, with Kim Hong-Yeol being the only athlete representing South Korea.
In the Olympic Qualification Series (OQS), B-boy Kim Hong-Yeol scored 38 points at OQS Shanghai 2024 and 41 points at OQS Budapest 2024, totaling 79 points and finishing in 2nd place, securing his spot for Paris 2024.
Kim Hong-Yeol expressed his feelings, saying, "I have worked hard for over a year, and I am happy to achieve my goal with a better result than in Shanghai."
