Woo Sang-hyuk is outstanding achievement at the 2022 World Indoor Athletics Championships in Belgrade made history as the first South Korean to win the championship. In a recent indoor athletics competition in the Czech Republic, Woo Sang-hyuk exceeded his own record by clearing 2.36 meters, breaking the Korean record for high jump. This remarkable performance propelled him to the top of the world rankings as the only athlete to clear 2.35 meters or more this year.

Woo Sang-hyuk is set to continue his athletic journey, with plans to participate in the upcoming athletics championships scheduled to take place in the United States in July. His dedication and success in the high jump have made him a source of pride for South Korea in the global athletics arena.
