The North Face opens world's first Summit Club House experience space in Shanghai
Deliver immersive experiences that reveal the brand’s spirit of exploration
Global outdoor brand The North Face unveiled its first Summit Club House in Shanghai on September 23. The space is expected to provide an immersive experience that embodies the brand's spirit of exploration, contributing significantly to the spread of outdoor culture.
Inspired by the iconic HALF DOME of Yosemite National Park, The North Face's symbol, visitors can start their rock climbing experience using the specially crafted HALF DOME apparatus. Inside, a space is dedicated to sharing the personal exploration stories of the brand's prominent athletes, featuring portraits of these athletes. Particularly noteworthy is the experiential area replicating the extreme conditions of the Himalayas, allowing visitors to try on The North Face's specialized cold-weather gear and experience its performance.
Lastly, the latest version of The North Face's 2023 Himalayan Down Jacket, part of the iconic PARKA Down Jacket series introduced in 1973, was revealed. A representative from 'The North Face' stated about the opening, "We wanted to convey the brand's values and philosophy through direct communication with customers. Summit Club House will be the perfect space for such communication." Meanwhile, The North Face has sparked anticipation for its next destination, leaving a question on its official Instagram: "Which city should we visit next?"
